Initially joining as Head of Development, my role evolved to take over the design discipline in what were my formative years as a designer
We worked to a strict set of internal guidelines which were firmly rooted in the the ethos of content for all. Our design and development work was always of a high level of:
- accessibility compliance and user experience: which led me to becoming known in the industry in these areas
- attention to detail: our work was, as was the fashion, pixel and character perfect
Over my time in the role, the agency went from 10 to 30+ people with clients growing with us, these included KPMG, Novus leisure, Sporting Bet, Penguin, CMC markets and GLA.
Splitting my time between hands on design, development and training was hugely rewarding, as was helping shape the culture of a start up
Whilst initially I did not imagine myself as a trainer, it became an enjoyable part of my role. Being an ambassador for the brand and it was fitting the last work I produced for Webcredible was a redesign of the training academy.
